I am scared of the choice this Adminstration has made, playing around with the Healthcare of its employees. We are all very happy and pleased with our choices of health care, of either SelectCare or FHP NetCare.
I am a SelectCare member for years and I feel secured and happy with my choice. Now am scared and feel this Adminustration has taken away our rights to choose what's best for our selves and family. Not to mention that this Administration has taken away resources $$ from our local economy to an off Island Vendor, which has a ripple effect in our economy.

I kindly ask that I be able to choose. Some laws start with good intentions but end up with bad outcomes. I'm afraid this will be one of them.

For a person that’s operated a bank for many years through family generations. You would think the Gov and political staff would understand basic economics. When you outsource to a an off-island company, the funding leaves your home country in this instance:Guam. An excess of millions possibly leaving Guam and Going to Aetna is an economic impact. Local carriers are impacted, jobs are at stake, prices increase for goods and cost of living. The people were in most largely happy with their “options” to choose TakeCare or SelectCare.
I’ll advised decisions or uneducated ones are the reason why you don’t let pandering agenda/political figures with no knowledge of health insurance make the decision for GovGuam employees health plans.

But why? SelectCare remained with GovGuam when all else washed their hands of us! Give employees and retirees the prerogative to choose the best coverage for their needs.

I am very satisfied with my current provider which is Takecare. Although Selectcare is locally owned and i believe in buying local, affordability and when the service is the same if not better id choose otherwise. I like the fact that i have choses with my healthcare. Lets keep it that way.

For my family's medical needs, SelectCare is a locally owned company who makes decisions that puts my family first. I need the option of having the choice of a healthcare plan with SelectCare. Pls senators and leaders, repeal this law. I dont want to have to make a long distance ph call for services. I need SekectCare who knows me and helps my family when I've asked for help...everytime.

This is ridicoulous! Calvos Selectcare has always taken care of GovGuam membets when no other insurance wanted us! And remember, Moylans Netcare is One of them. ALSO what does Aetna know about our people? They are an off island insurer, and we have to think too of our Providers - they have to deal with sending their billing for services Off Island (wheres the so-called "savings" there?)
Calvos Select Care is Locally owned and Locally grown! Repeal this stupid law..Im not even going to say what I think of the idiot senator who introduced this bill because i might get audited!!! Please Senators - help the people of Guan get back our pride and let our local insurance companies take care of the GovGuam employers health insurance carriers. You cant put a price on quality health insurance.....especially if its not home grown!
