I agree with the most comments posted here. Alexi Lalas comments are very depressing, barely heard, and full of negatives. He thinks he is good and he rarely agrees with the panel. But most of time his comments are one sided and embarrassing. And his predictions are never on track. Very arrogant and ignorant to soccer at the same time

Lalas is just an emotional horrible person. He only stirs negativity and in addition has no idea about the game of soccer!

I agree, Alexi Lalas followed by boring Brad Freidel are the worst soccer commentators ever, and I'm over 50 yrs old. Lalas was a 3rd rate soccer player at best, thinks he knows it all when in fact he's clueless, does not know good to great players function, and thinks he's worth his salt. My and my soccer mates mute the sound to the games he commentates on or switch over to the Mexican commentary which we prefer, though we don't understand what they are saying ...but it's still a lot more interesting that that mudane waffler Lalas!

Can’t stand watching Lalas. I mute the half time show. He’s humorless and pompous. So many better options out there.

A player went down in pain and had to leave the game in the first 10 minutes. As he was leaving the pitch Lalas insightfully commented "it must really be bothering him."
