Alexi Lalas and Eric Wynalda are the reason why I find foreign streams of UCL games on the internet. And Yes, I do have the cable subscriptions.

Seriously, the man doesn't know anything about commentating and the game in general.
Just because he played it, doesn't mean he makes a great commentator.

I'd rather attempt to follow Spanish speaking commentators than listen to Lalas try and make meaningful contributions to soccer.

At no point does Mr. Lalas provide any actual, noteworthy commentary. His incessant criticism strikes down any and all enjoyment of the sport. He has no regard for spectators.
If you don't fire him, and I strongly urge that you do, please make him to reserve his god awful opinions for twitter posts.
