This guy is so biased and one-sided with coverage. I just could stand it anymore and had to go watch ther spanish coverage.

He speaks about things; and very poorly too, about levels of football/soccer that he has no experiential knowledge of. This is reason enough to remove him in favor of anyone else with more credentials, but add in his bitter pompous manner of speaking and you have a professional liability. It should be asked why he should keep his job. He is a national embarrassment that should be quickly and quietly ushered away from any further commentating or representation of the the United States of its soccer program.

He is so bad that he is at fault if the fair weather soccer fan changes the channel with his commentary. Overrated soccer player and awful in commentating.

We play a Lalas drinking game. Every time he says "set pieces" we do a shot. We never see the end of a game anymore. We're too drunk.

Do not enjoy his comments. I feel as though he is disengenous and generally off point in his analysis. I usually end up muting the tv.
