Greetings!

I, Maria Raphaela Elysse R. Fojas of batch 16A, would like to submit an appeal for the eligibility of my candidacy as I intend to run for the position of Vice President for External Affairs. As per Article III Section 4 of the 2015 Constitution, applicants yet to accomplish the Final Rites are considered as 'Continuing Applicants'.

I had all intentions of attending the Final Rites however, for the past two FRs i was unable to due to the following reasons: for 16A, I was occupied with managing my grades and talking to the professors that handled EEE 33 to reach the cut off grade for 4.00 and take the removal exam, for 16B, I was not allowed by my parents due to unforeseen family matters and complications, and for the 17A FR, it was postponed and moved to be combined with the 17B FR.

Despite not having undergone the FR, I have proven that it did not hinder my overall performance as a member of the organization and that I am still capable of delivering with my full potential regardless of this fact.

However, I understand that the Final Rites are still a set requirement so I fully intend to attend the 17A/17B FR. Should the said FR be postponed again, but hopefully not, I am more than willing to accept an alternative method as approved by the General Assembly (Article III Section 4.D.).
