Electronic Arts (EA) has partnered with Evan Balance, Inc. to use PunkBuster (PB) anti-cheat software for its games, but is unable support its customers with issues caused by PB. This is an absurd relationship that needs to be fixed.

When a user has an issue with PB such as being globally banned for some reason, EA will just tell you that you have to submit a support ticket to Even Balance and leave it up to them to fix. Even Balance then tells you that they can't help you. Even Balance doesn't have a financial stake when it comes to supporting the customer so they just brush you off while providing as little information as possible without any way to escalate the issue to a manager.

The purpose of this petition is to demand that EA drops its partnership with Even Balance unless Even Balance improves support on their end or EA is allowed more control when it comes to lifting bans that affect the usage of their software. Losing EA's support is the only way that Even Balance will feel financial pressure.

Please support this petition by signing it and agreeing that you will no longer purchase EA games that use PunkBuster unless they fix their abusive customer service practices.
