This intersection is incredibly dangerous and is an accident waiting to happen. A light at this intersection would make it much more safe.

This intersection is so very dangerous. It is difficult to make left turns out of Amherst Road and Firehouse Lane, due to regular, heavy traffic, and the fact that the two roads are not directly across from each other causes even more of a hazard. A better traffic management system is required.

We should not wait for an accident or injury - there is too much going on at that busy, offset intersection to not have a light controlling traffic flow.

This is a dangerous intersection. People drive too fast on route 9, and a light at this intersection would improve safety for vehicles and pedestrians.

The traffic on 9 is consistently over the speed limit and the intersection is extremely dangerous for the residents, especially our younger and senior population.

My grandmother used to live in Red Hook Estates and it was terrible trying to get out of there. If not a light figure something out because it's an awful setup!

With 4 business entrances adjacent to two street entrances, often traffic flow does not allow a left turn AT ALL to go north on Rt 9 safely. This means that one must turn right, and turn around in a business parking lot on the south side of the intersection and then head north from that point. Multiple near miss rear-end accidents with cars not slowing down behind me as I signal to turn into the neighborhood from Rt. Speed limit of 30mph also not observed by Rt 9 traffic making pulling out of the intersection dangerous as well.

Also concerned that signs at that intersection block visibility and distracts. Even the fire department advertises events there on a big modular sign.

Extremely dangerous intersection. Neighborhood traffic as well as multiple businesses and fire house.
A light is needed before someone gets hurt.

This is desperately needed!
