we live in Australia, my husband contracted Lyme and its co-infections babesia, bartonella while holidaying in Slovenia - bloods confirmed by German Armin Lab. please we need help with appropriate care and treatment required, as our medical doctors who acknowledge and treat tick-borne infections, run the risk of being de-registered, meantime we are suffering badly and deteriorating. Please help with better medical updated guidelines and proper treatment worldwide. Doctors have their hands tied. Please help us. we have one life!

I have babesia seen in a blood test, I am very sick, I need help! The cdc and insurance and doctors need to acknowledge this and help people! I am a single mother of 3 and I am losing everything to this horrible disease! This parasite is exceedingly difficult to kill and I have had this infection undiagnosed for decades with my health slipping and slipping now I am so sick that I can no longer work and can’t pay my mortgage or get the SOT therapies that actually work. Please help! Thank you- love Melinda & kids!

Yes please update the CDC guidelines to ANY Lyme bands detected mean you have Lyme. Make the HBOT (hyperbaric oxygen therapy) an improved treatment for all autoimmune diseases that insurance should cover. And look into the Lyme and sleeping disorder connections (specifically narcolepsy). Both are supposedly rare yet myself and my best friend have both.

Lyme disease is a debilitating illness not understood by most physicians. It is often misdiagnosed or dismissed all together.

Please, we need help. Lyme Disease and co-infections such as Bartonella, Babesia, Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever, Borrelia miyamotoi and so many others, need to be treated like the epidemics that they are.

Chronic Lyme is real. Post Lyme Disease Syndrome is not. You cannot imagine the suffering that this disease causes, though suicide is the leading cause of death for people with Lyme. I am in Maine. Both my neighbors have Lyme disease. The bartender at the local bar has Lyme disease. The bartender at the only other bar in town has been devastated by Lyme disease. Our landscaper - his wife is debilitated with Lyme disease. The man who mows our lawn - both his father and brother are debilitated by Lyme disease. I have a friend who needs to have heart surgery due to a complication from Lyme disease. The young man who bagged my groceries at Walmart tonight has Lyme disease. My mom had a nurse who got fired because his brain was too squishy from Lyme disease. Currently one of her two new nurses has Lyme disease. My boyfriend, who is an ophthalmologist, just lost a patient, (an older lady), to babesia. She dies in less than a week. I randomly hired someone to come haul away a junk pile - he had Lyme disease. I hired someone to paint some trim on our house - he showed up with ACTIVE palsy in his face from Lyme disease. My best friend growing up has three children with Lyme disease. The youngest is 3. This is not a joke. I am not exaggerating. I am in a town where you cannot throw a rock without hitting someone whose life has been destroyed by this. Lyme disease does not change your life, it takes it completely. You live with chronic encephalitis, and the pain is on a scale that is inhuman. People who can't afford treatment retire to bed to die. Do you have any idea how many kids are suffering with this? Curled up in bed with ice packs all over their heads, wailing and screaming and begging to die? I've seen it. And that is not to mention the co infections. They are finding out now that Bartonella is likely the leading cause of schizophrenia. I am not a Trump supporter, but I have hope for you. We in the Lyme community know from your hearing that you are aware of the fact th

My son has been battling this awful disease for 10 years. It has robbed him of his youth! Nothing is helping him and it’s costing us an absolute fortune.

The CDC and IDSA guidelines for treatment must be revised and align with such organizations as ILADS. Chronic Lyme needs to have a voice. Also alternative healthcare choices need to be covered by insurance.
