After waiting so many years to see the field at the Nepean Sportsplex to be replaced it was so disappointing to see the end result. Very unsafe field and cannot be used for any sport. What were they thinking?

A successful, central football program like the Riders needs community support. Not only do I encourage this, I also strongly encourage a much needed discussion around field access for all our outdoor sports.
There is a huge appetite for active lifestyle, and we need more investment in the facilities that allow our young, and us too, to share the passion of sport.

The new turf is not suitable for soccer, football or any other sport that would have people falling on it. A $1.2M bad purchase. Where is accountability for this fiasco?

It blows my mind that the city would not consider the needs and safety of the young men and women that once played on this field. Waste of city dollars to make a field that is now deemed unsafe. Shame on you Jim Watson and the council that did not research this before putting this turf in. Another city project like so many others that need to be redone or fixed.

I've witnessed so many bad practice fields in my time coaching. The Riders need their own practice field that's properly cared for.

Great club , my son played 5 years with Myers and we volunteered. We met great people and families.
