This old lady has nobody in Egypt. She cared for her late ill son for many years and the other son who is in the UK. it is about time that she should receive care when she needed from her son.

Please consider the situation of being in a different country, sad circumstances, and losing the home you had in your country. Nothing to go back to, persecution of belief and no future in your twilight years.

I hope that this case will have the issue it deserves i.e. Allow this old lady to remain in England with the only person left in her life. Humanity and compassion are to prevail in this sad case.

Dr Emad Arsany was a great source of inspiration, laughter and joy to me in the most formative years of my life. To be as such, in spite of the unimaginable hardships that he faced through his illness is not only a testament to his will, but that of his mother, Fayza.
Her indomitable spirit is an asset, which our shared community in Britain holds so dear. It is only just that Fayza be permitted to exercise her right for a family life, a life that she would be deprived of in Egypt as her remaining family reside in Britain.
As a citizen of Great Britain, I petition my government to act in the best interests of not only Fayza, but her British son, grandchildren and also a large community of Britons by granting her leave to remain.
