Cutting down trees is a travesty and very short-sighted. Developers should be facing steep fines in addition to making restitution by replacing what they destroyed.

Our trees are historic monuments to our rural past on our precious eastside. Developers like Huffins do not live here, they just build here. ENOUGH! Lets put some teeth into the Ft. Worth tree ordinance.

These trees have been here and honestly I don't see the importance of tearing them down if we are already fighting for oil and resources isn't it enough? There are a bunch of jobs if you fight me about there not being many jobs and this is another one of those warehouse jobs.

I grew up in east Fort Worth and the clear cutting for housing developments is destroying otherwise healthy trees that could be built around. It takes decades for trees to reach the development that many of these healthy trees were at.

I agree you don't have to cut down 50 trees for a 3 foot sidewalk. They cut a whole field of trees by my house so they could put an access road to the railway repair center that will only be used once or twice every few months. ( There's an existing road on the other side)

Developers are mowing down trees with no consequences whatsoever- then planting little non- native trees or maybe one tree that will take years to grow- we need every tree to help with our heat island and climate crisis!
