Ready meal purchased from the same named supermarket , use by date 8/12/19, piece of glass in it, thankful it didn't chip my tooth. Will never buy again.

Bought the chicken meal from a Sainsbury in Edinburgh. I bit into a chipped my tooth on stone. I will be in contact with Fit Kitchen about this

I found a piece of black cube of plastic in the vegan falafel meal today that I purchased from Sainsbury's local to me. I almost choked on it.

I started by ringing Sainsbury’s who straight away asked me to send in the piece for further investigation (I decided against this). I then rang Scratch who were quite defensive in their response and also requested that I send in the bearing before things could carry on further. I was hesitant to send it to them without the incident being rectified – in the way of vouchers or some sort of apology for the negative experience. This was like pulling teeth – I almost felt like they were trying to say that it was my fault.
Anyway I received a few hesitant vouchers a couple of weeks later and then sent the object back to them as I was quickly getting over the whole situation.

Crooked corporation! They should admit when they’re wrong, and put the public safety first! How can you trust their products, if they don’t?!!
