Save the Entertainment Industry in Special Session

The State of Florida and the people will see gain in so many ways by helping the entertainment industry grow.

Bringing the film industry to Florida results in exposure to this great state, jobs, recognition as a place to visit. Why is Atlanta taken the lead, wake up politicians.

Film and television inspires Florida tourism. Don't make us move from this beautiful state to Georgia where the jobs currently are. Bring the jobs back to Florida.

We need the film,TV and digital media investment program to keep our economy going.

If we look at the economic boom to Georgia that tax credits have made than it is a clear economic advantage to our state to pass these incentives. They really do lead to jobs!

Would love to return to Fl. to work again and be close to family. But without the incentive this is most unlikely.

This will bring so much business to Florida and keep businesses up and running and bring more revenue to our state and add jobs which is what I thought the Governor was all about.

i have 2 potential jobs that rely on the film incentive. FL has been my home for 20 years, i am looking forward to buying a house this year, buying a car. I want to spend that money and be a part of the Miami community. If these jobs ago away, i will have to move away as well. I am just one person that will inject thousands of dollars spent here in south florida. My expenditures aren't calculated into boost to thhe local economy. I am just one of thousands of local film makers that keep our money and our votes here.

Dear Sirs: I am the Founder and CEO of the G-Star School of the Arts for Film, Animation and Performing Arts. We have 1100 students and when they graduate they must leave for Georgia, Lousiana, LA or NY. We are trainging our best and our brightest to leave the state. Please bring back the film industry to Florida before there is nothing left to come back to. Greg Hauptner

Please pass the incentives. It'd be nice to keep the film and TV jobs in Florida instead of letting them go over the border to Georgia.

It will help our industry and bring more attention to our State to promote tourism, real estate and all industries
