Film makers bring jobs and spend considerable cash. And diversify our tourist attraction. Please give them incentive to work in Florida.

The film industry bring thousands of jobs to Florida. It's a win-win, no brainer.

The once multi billion dollar movie production biz in Florida can once again rise to the top with a sure fire entertainment incentive that would compete with the major production states. Its will produce jobs, help commerce and make Florida the star it deserves to be.

This is a an extremely important deal. It could give a lot of opportunities to many actors by making Florida more competitive.

FLorida need to be competitive with all the other states that have incentives for filmmakers.

This legislation is important to the many people who are employed in this industry, as well as the tourists who are brought here from viewing Florida TV and movie projects. Think about the impact just one program, Miami Vice, had on a revitilaztion of Miami Beach, and Florida as a whole. Tax incentives will give back more revenue to the State of Florida and bring business to our state. Vote YES on this legislation!

Please pass this, there are a lot of people who dream to work in the film industry and pay to go to school and get an education in filmmaking. There is no downside to this!

As a former executive of the Cultural Council of Palm Beach, a board member of the TV&Film Commision and a former executive with IBM who funded the development of the first PC in Florida, I encourage you to add this important economic development incentive. There is no down side to this investment. Think about it. Film production always leaves a community better off than when it arrive. It creates jobs, purchases locally, repairs and builds, promote the area, creates a buzz, improves quality of life, builds brands. Everyone wins! However, if we do not implement and incentive program in Florida, this industry will continue to go to other states.

This film bill will really help our state's economy. We write about economic development.
