Save the Entertainment Industry in Special Session

We must save the entertainment industry so many families depend on it

Please increase support for film and television in Florida. The talent and interest is here, but we need government support.

As a film crew member for many years I beg u to pAss incentives. For every dollar you make available, our productions spend 8!!! It's good business and our movies advertise Florida!!! Ballers, Bloodline, Dolphins Tale, Magic City, Graceland, Glades,Burn Notice, Pain n Gain!!! PLEASE APPROVE OUR INCENTIVES!!!!

If your "job" is to create JOBS, please, PLEASE bring this back! I am tired of having to leave the State to work. I never did before, but now I am out of State more than I am IN State and it 100% BECAUSE of NO INCENTIVES!

I am graduating from art school and would lover an opportunity to work in this state instead of relocating. Thank you!

NO incentive… NO projects to bring to Florida! I will most likely spend my investor's money in Georgia or Louisiana.

My daughter is going to be a SCAD graduate and it would be amazing if she had an opportunity to work in the state of Florida, instead of relocating to find work in her field

The act of killing the film incentives bills is killing my career. Film work is moving out of Florida. Please act fast and save my family.

I am a Florida native and have always wanted the entertainment industry, specifically the Film and TV industry, to have a larger presence here. We can compete with any state even California if given the chance.

This is what I affectionately refer to as, "DUH!" legislation...

Without the arts there would be not "sciences" to support. Don't be so short-sighted as to think that the interrelationships of imagination and science can be ignored. Business as usual is not working for our state. You just might find that inclusion of the brilliant artist community available to you could be just what we need to turn our pitiful record in education and other areas around.
