Please understand how important this industry is to Florida. We provide jobs and income to many businesses. The industry has proven invaluable to tourism. Please keep Floridians working here in Florida, do not make us move elsewhere. Thank you.

This would give so much money to the state in tourism, hospitality, transportation, retail, etc. This isn't just for entertainment professionals.

We thank you for hearing the voices of our teachers, administrators and students. Keep the love of performing arts alive!

As a producer and director, I want to see more film opportunities here. Our taklet, and crew suffers greatly from the lack 90 work and paid work. The union has done nothing to serve film makers as a national organization. Help us get film back.

What better way of drawing tourists to Florida than by showcasing our tropical beauty on the big screen, viewed worldwide?! The money it generates is overwhelming. The number of jobs it fills, massive. Why pass over all the film projects to surrounding states that already offer significant tax credit incentives? Film/entertainment is always in demand regardless of economic conditions, always has been, through the 1930’s great depression era and beyond.. The jobs and money film produces should be kept here in Florida.

We need incentives to get the big shows and films. This keeps us working as well as keeps Florida in the spotlight for many positive economic reasons.

I am an independent filmmaker in south Florida. While I would love to stay in Florida and keep the monetary windfall that comes from film in the are I love. However without these incentives all the steady work is going to be in other states. So help keep film in Florida and pass this bill.

As a native Floridian and someone who is proud of his state I want to see it thrive. Let artists such as myself weave the story of this great state on the patchwork of cinema.

One look at the economic stimulus that New Mexico and Georgia have received thanks to film incentives should be enough to convince us this is a good idea.
