our industry and the state are counting on y'all!

I am a makeup artist in Miami. I have been in the Film and TV business for the past 15yrs+. We need this incentive for Florida. Our livelihood depends on it. I depend on more production jobs all year round in order to survive. My job is Not a hobby. It is a career and I love doing it. Please! We need this to happen. Thank you

Video Production jobs are good paying, highly-skilled jobs that Floridians need. Please make this a priority for our state. This is the type of work Florida should be going out of their way to attract. We have the talented individuals who are ready and willing to work. We have the natural beauty and resources to make the state an attractive location to produce. Let's take these factors and make JOBS happen in Florida. REAL middle class jobs.

Please save my job. I'm 55, unemployed at present, and rely on my career as Set Decorator to put food on my table. Please stop sending work to other States.

I'm in the IT industry, and I can tell you that the Digital Media Credit program in the state of LA was a significant part of our decision to open up a 250+ person development center in that state. It works!

My husband and many amazing, talented friends were part of the group that was laid off from Golf Channel last week as the company elected to halt production on our two golf reality shows. So many other freelancers were affected as well as they relied on these shows for a big chunk of work and income every year. This state is rife with production talent and resources, and there is no reason we can't and shouldn't be competing with Georgia and Lousiana for productions. Please step up and help bring the Florida Entertainment Industry back to life!!!!

I am a working actor in the state of Florida, & I rely heavily on the film incentive and tax credit to not only further my career in the degree that I got but to support my family. I grew up in Florida, I went to school at Florida State University and got my degree in theater, I own a home here and I am raising a family here. I don't want to have to leave to go to Georgia. I want this wonderful state to profit from the film industry input money back into our economy. this does not only help actors, but it helps the hotel industry, restaurants, car services and more. urge you to support this bill and help our wonderful state profit from this.
