Save the Entertainment Industry in Special Session

Please help keep high skilled well paying jobs in Florida

As a Floridian, a voter, and a graduating student, I am asking, along with so many others, for a future in the film industry that I studied for through college.

Please encourage more work in the Entertainment industry through incentives.

Tax credit for film is good for more than just the people in the business.

Please support the film industry here in Florida; help save and create jobs in our state.

Hello Colleagues, I have been in the film Industry for 15 years. Never have I seen such a desire from Hollywood to take production out of large metropolitans like NY & LA and spend their money in other States. Florida could be one of them. Louisiana has rebuilt their state with the Returns, and Atlanta seems to be Thriving! Let's do Florida a solid and bring our state the Financial Returns that it could enjoy. I frankly love it here, and don't want to leave. I'd rather get famous out of Florida, and spend my $$$ and influence in my Home state! Thanks for all of your hard work! Tony DeMil S

It is vital that Florida adapt some form of incentives for Film and TV productions. This will enable Florida students to pursue their ambitions here in the State rather than go to another State where they will be able to secure more empolment opportunites.

when the crews all relocate to GA and LA then what?? its an INDUSTRY people, not a hand out! time to get real with this thing or kiss it goodbye along with tax payer income for above average wages

Please consider Film Incentives during the Special Session

Let's get this economic boon to Florida a reality!! It's a win-win for everyone!

If you do not act now to fund the Florida Film incentive program already in place, many projects slated for Florida, by large LA and NY studios will simply go elsewhere. This is NOT just production and talent jobs the state loses, but many, many other support jobs, from Real Estate Leasing, craft services, Relocation services, to transportation, shipping, IT, editing, trucking, too many to mention.
