Everyone involved in our industry are counting on you to do the right thing which will bring new business to everyone in each community that is booked as a backdrop for film, print and TV projects--hotels, restaurants, retail stores, and the list goes on and on...

There are thousands of jobs to be had by bringing back the film industry to FL! Is that not what you advocated?

The film industry in Florida is at a crucial juncture. I am asking for your help for our state to stay competitive.
I work in this industry. The last three calls I got were from GA, NC, and VA.
40+ states support their the film, TV and digital media industries because for every dollar invested they receive ten times back in jobs, tax revenue, and indirectly from tourism media coverage.
Inaction now will cost Florida millions that will go to other states. Please, do not let us be left out.
Act now. Do not let these profitable productions take place somewhere else.
Thank you.

We cannot continue to allow neighboring states to take the economic impact away from us by offering a partnership with the entertainment industry. Florida has a hungry/trained field of talent that would absolutely benefit from a deal like this. Let's make it happen before our creatives look for a better opportunity elsewhere.
