When we petition the lodge we are told family first, when we are elected to lodge officer we are told family first, when we travel with our WM to an event, we are told family first, if you have family obligations, we can find a sit in or we go without. Our careers come second and lodge third. We are essentially volunteering our time for the better of the craft, to bring more light to ourselves and masonry, to make great men better. But I question, how do I make me a better Husband, Father, & Mason when I clearly observe the opposite of what we are informed comes first when we petition a lodge. When you deny due process, you deny every "good man" his Masonic right to be heard. Masonry should not be about stronger value to who showed up to every function and intrinsic rewards, while we are cherishing friendships and working together for the common good. The gen X'ers (me) were raised to treat everyone the same, be kind, be respectful, if you see something isn't right, be the change to fix it. We are steadfast, we do the job with pride, and no prejudices. We look to the future generations that we know will change the "old ways" in order to progress the craft forward for the betterment of society. Maybe it is time for renewal, the valus and history will always be written in the archives. To the GL leadership, I leave you with this.

I feel the actions the Grand Master has taken are completely against everything we as Masons stand for. I hope this petition brings the reinstatement of all the Brothers involved, for they have served our craft with the utmost loyalty.

Most Worshipful GM, Elected line, and Distinguished Bretheren.
PLEASE reconsider reinstatement of our elected officer and officers by the bretheren who elected them into their positions by a fair and honest election.
When i was offered a GL position, I knew i was supposed to be running around to all the functions possible. I mentioned that it would be impossible for me due to work and family schedules.
Now, just because when you get into the years of SGJW, SGSW, DGM to GM, you spent tons of your time and money to get there doesnt mean Everyone MUST do it to.
Last time I looked, lodge was a technically a hobby, not a job. Although I know, it feels like a job at most times. And yes, when you get to your positions, it gets rewarded back with certain perks that frankly, have been out of hand for years.
So in short, hasn't America suffered enough with the disruption that we see in front of us. Does it REALLY need to be in our fraternity also.
So again, i ask, reconsider. Its the right thing to do.

Landmark 3 was abused and then weaponized. L3 has to go! RW Olsen was duly elected by the Brethren to SGW. Let the Brethren decide if he is elected to DGM.
