Barrett’s Esophagus is often caused by damage sustained from untreated gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD); aka the corrosive acids caused by heartburn--Pezzola has probably been struggling with the prison diet. He should be treated immediately with a daily pill of an OTC acid reducer (eg, Prilosec, Nexium). Failure to control the acid reflux can eventually cause cancer of the throat. In other words, Dominic is being slowly murdered by the feds who have withheld an inexpensive, widely available preventive medicine. Sound familiar? (Ivermectin denied during C19)
