This is why I joined to begin with. It was a way to keep on top of companies I do business with. This is how they update customers now so I organized by lists and that way I can get exactly what I need when I need it and not miss it because it's lost in the news feed. Won't be any real reason for me to be on FB anymore.

Now there will be more people who I miss their posts because their posts don't automatically show on my facebook page or for whatever reason the facebook algorithm doesn't show them.
With FRIENDS lists I could curtail this by having lists so I would not miss as many posts.

I can't understand why this has been done, Interest Lists are (sorry were) the only way to organise and thus manage your newsfeed when liking "non personal" Facebook pages. I can remember the "chaos" my newsfeed was before apportioning pages to my (user-defined) lists. I frequently extolled the virtue of Interest Lists to friends who frequently missed updates because they only bothered to scroll down a few pages of newsfeed at most.
Really bad move Facebook, just wish more people knew about this petition !

I was able to curate my own news and sort out my pages according to my... interests! Definitely my favourite feature of Facebook. Can't believe it's now GONE! BRING IT BACK :'(

This decision to discontinue this feature has made Facebook practically unusable for me. Facebook is becoming useless and irrelevant. I want~no, I NEED~the ability to sort the pages and people I follow into categories so I can easily find the content relevant and timely to me. I do not have the time or inclination to scroll mindlessly through my newsfeed to see the things I want. And I don't want my newsfeed more cluttered! Stupidest idea ever!

My carrer and life is on that interest list! I want that back! facbook is now a dictator than an actual social site! its a complete sellout business plan on wat they did! they wanna show the newsfeed how they want so removed the manual option!

I had lists for family, work, places I have lived etc and now I can no longer see posts form these as FB never shows these in my timeline.

I used my interest list every day, multiple time a day for my business. Please bring them back. Taking them away without warning has significantly affected my work! It was such a useful organization tool.
