Dear Facebook, by removing the Interests feature, you have become a useless, disorganized, uninteresting time-waster.
Do you want me to see ads and fear that I am skipping them by using the interests page? Then put the ads there, I don't mind. I might even click them more, when they are more relevant!
Isn't it in your interest to have more engaged users? Isn't it in your interest to encourage sharing, clicking, liking and commenting? That won't be achieved by forcing us to see the heap of irrelevant crap in the News Feed. Do you think advertisers will spend more if all they can target is a bunch of kids and shirkers with lots of time to scroll, but no spending power? The answer is no (saying this as a frequent advertiser).
Very bad move, Facebook team, very bad indeed. Please, bring the Interests feature back.

I use my lists daily so my news feed does get clogged. I can read what I want when I want. FB, you are just making socializing miserable.

I admin a hometown affinity group with 9,000 members, and my Interest List for my hometown was my primary way of knowing what's going on there and sharing information to my group. Facebook's value as a news aggregator is severely diminished without Interest Lists. If there was statistically low usage of them, I believe it's because so few people were even aware of how to create and use Interest Lists. Thanks for considering the request in this petition.

Interest lists are useful for stuff that won't show up in your news feed for whatever reason, and for only seeing what someone actually posts and not other people posts that they liked or commented on.

The Facebook team should reconsider the termination of Interests and Friends lists. For people who have a large number of friends, interests or both, it was a convenient way to navigate Facebook efficiently and save time. There is absolutely no way to go through friends or interests, one at a time if you have many. Nor is it possible for many of us to simply scroll back through hours of posts to catch up. Some computers like mine, are not capable. I wish to let the Facebook team know that i am in support of returning these features to the Facebook community.

I agree, many of us work with our interest lists in a daily basis. It is really disappointing to see that they seem to be gone, and it makes it now impossible to use Facebook in an efficient and proper informative way. Please Facebook team, be so kind and bring the interest lists back. It is already not very easy anymore to be in touch with friends and pages on FB, there is absolutely no control anymore who can see and reach posts. It's a bit frustrating for us users. And, now if the interest lists also get removed, it was one of the best and most useful features! Please be so kind and bring it back, so we can all use it again.
