Interest lists are my primary reason for using Facebook. It's been my preferred way of consuming news and I spent hours curating my lists. Now I will rely more on other tools like Feedly or Apple News, etc. Bye, Facebook.

Facebook is utterly useless without lists, I absolutely hate it. I deactivated my account the minute I saw my lists were gone.
I use interest lists on a daily basis. I thought everybody did. There is too much crap not to.

Interest Lists are the only way to keep up to date on all the musicians, artists and tv shows I watch. If they don't return, I will likely only use facebook 5% as much as I do currently. Bring them back!

HOW COULD YOU REMOVE THE INTEREST LISTS? IT WAS THE MOST USEFUL ASPECT OF FACEBOOK, TO BE ABLE TO CONNECT WITH A VARIETY OF BRANDS AND PAGES, SEPARATELY. ALL OF THESE NEW FEATURES LIKE THE MARKETPLACE BUTTON OVER TAKING WHERE THE MESSENGER OPTION USED TO BE, "DISCOVER PEOPLE" ARE COMPLETELY USELESS. WHO NEEDS TO DISCOVER PEOPLE THAT I DON'T KNOW IN FACEBOOK GROUPS? THERE'S NO WAY THAT BOTH THE AVERAGE JOE AND BRAND PAGES ARE HAPPY ABOUT THIS. INTEREST LISTS HELPED PEOPLE SEPARATE THEIR NEWS FEEDS, I DON'T NEED TO SEE BUZZFEED ARTICLES MIXED IN WITH THE IMPORTANT NEWS FROM NEW YORK TIMES. THE COMPANIES THAT ARE PAYING FOR THEIR PAGES ARE NOW LOST AMONGST POLITICAL CRAP. WHATS WRONG WITH YOU FACEBOOK. THERES NO WAY THESE NEW OPTIONS LIKE MOVE OR FIT ARE GENERATING YOU MORE MONEY THAN INTEREST PAGES.

How could Facebook remove such important product without any previous notice? If this is the way they going to treat their users, I will make sure people around me knowledge it well. Their are always alternative solutions. pretty sure I'm done with Facebook.

The removal of the Interest List feature will seriously downgrade the utility of Facebook for many people. Such list feeds allowed one to organize the pages/friends that one followed into logical and relevant categories (e.g., local, news, hobbies, social/activism groups, educational resources, etc).
For those who utilize Facebook for work, learning, or organizing, this is quite inconveniencing. Additionally, for persons w/ certain learning or psychological disabilities/proclivities, the chaotic smattering of posts one can expect from the Newsfeed may be far less accessible to them.
Personally, Interest Lists were the far and away the most useful feature of this social network. I hope the folks at Facebook will strongly reconsider the decision to remove this feature.

Interest lists were the primary reason I used FB. Seems to be a move by FB in order to expand advertising I'm forced to see in my newsfeed. Twitter will be my primary resource going forward.
