As a person living in Pensacola throughout my youth. Graduating from Booker T. Washington and UWF, I could have left and started a career anywhere in the US. Instead I chose to stay in Pensacola since I enjoy the people and community. As a community, if our public leaders cannot follow procedures to respect the rules and their oath. Then I do not believe they are keeping the best interest of this kind hearted community. Using funds allocated and planned for other resources to better improve our community, just to enrich a private corporation, must not be the type of leaders that should represent a community that has never had such an outlook on their neighbors.
Remove flock cameras or suspend operations until the proper channels, community meeting, and council member voting determines their existence on our streets.
Mayor Reeves, do better. Your efforts to bring more business to Pensacola can still be accomplished without exposing this small town to an Orwellian death sentence.

Appropriated funds should be used for their intended purpose. I would not trust an AI to surveil the Pensacola community accurately or to be used responsibly.

Flock is an absolutely absurd corporation. The idea that the gov can track me all over the country is indicative of lunatic levels of incompetency. Anyone who approves of this should be removed from office immediately.

Flock should not be allowed in our city. Any AI surveillance should not be allowed in ANY city for that matter. DC Reeves is a sellout and I can’t wait until he’s gone, he was NEVER a mayor for the people he was only a mayor for profit.

These cameras serve a higher purpose than "keeping our roads safer" by catching people doing "no-no's" and that purpose is profiling by way of data collection. These cameras are not secure, they are third party, they have been false on reports, they have been used to harass residents of other states. They watch for more than what you'd think, want, or expect. They are too accessible, they are abused, they are hackable. The feeling of being not just recorded, but actually being WATCHED, observed, logged onto a computer... It feels disturbing, it's slightly distressing because I have no control but they are allowed to do whatever with it, and I honestly want to go pray for targeted hail from the skies.

The idea of freedom can only exist if we have privacy. My whereabouts are not one for ICE, the cops, or federal agents to track without permission. Get rid of FLOCK NOW!
