What used to take 20 minutes now takes almost an hour. You MUST do something immediately to end the gridlock on I-95! And when you do, please don't put an entry to the express lanes after a major feeder entry. Traffic moving across 3 lanes to get in the express lanes is just bad design. Also please make the express lanes more affordable. My current ride to work runs about $250 a month for just 3 days a week. Until more industry moves to Fredericksburg and Stafford to provide better paying jobs the gridlock will continue. People who have to drive I-95 are at greater risk for health problems due to sitting for too long and work life balance nearly impossible to achieve. Thanks, Maren Kelley

Yes, the politicians, city planners, state planners (like all other states) continue to get it wrong. Traffic is a mess on I-95 between DC and Fredericksburg and nothing is being done fast enough to alleviate the taxpayers pain. HOV lanes was a good thought but the daily traffic speaks for itself. We need more mass transit lanes, extended HOV lanes, and free/open HOV lanes outside of rush hour traffic. I support this petition.

It is absolutely ridiculous that we are being penalized to get to our jobs. The extension has not helped It has actually made things much worse for many reasons. It was nice to be able to jump on HOV before 6:00 and 3:30 and get somewhere with less traffic and no cost. This is no longer the case. The prices are exponential, and what is truly a disgrace is paying an enormous fee only to be forced to get off in Arlington to sit in traffic forever. The back-up at 610/Stafford is horrendous and has added not only cost, but more time in traffic. This is all so frustrating and disappointing. A lot of the time other means of transportation is just not doable for some people. Something definitely needs to be done about this!

I believe this section of I-95 is the most dangerous part of the corridor. The congestion is unnecessary and harmful to the environment, the economy, and to people's health. End the gridlock; move the express lanes south of Rt 17.

The 2 mile extension will help to alleviate the backup at the Stafford exit.

Their should be at least 4 lanes of traffic each way all the way from Richmond to DC. Also extend the HOV lanes past Fredericksburg. Fix us now!

And please do this in a fashion which does not give American corporations even greater control over our lives as the HOT lanes have done.

Traffic on I 95 south of rt 610 is ridiculous!! How is it acceptable to routinely take 40 minutes to go 10 miles everyday? Do something about this. Stafford has no excuse for this amount of traffic problems. We are not a major metro area.

Extend the southbound express lanes to Spotsylvania. Get the VRE to add earlier trains going North in the morning.

EndGridlock! I-95 should have northbound and southbound HOT Lanes from the DC line through Frederecksburg. Virginia needs to make this a priority.

Make extending the hot lanes south to exit 126 a priority. This should not take 15 years!

End gridlock. Fix this mess. Hire the highway and HOV developers from Southern California. They got it right on I 15.

Please solve this cogestion, 3 to 4 hours of driving that I don't mind if it wasn't so frustrating and dangerous. Drivers do insane things when they're angry because of this traffic.
