This top-down "one size fits all" solution is not viable. Supervisors and department heads are connected to the needs of their team and need to have the authority to determine what works best for their team as it relates to the company's success.

The effects of this RTO mandate will have far-reaching impacts on the future of the company and the voice of the employee owners must be taken into account.

I disagree with the RTO has originally presented and as slightly modified. As the company has been polled previously, I suggest a company-wide poll with a broad range of questions to show how the company feels as a whole about changing the work environment we have adapted to effectively.

RTO was a decision made without input from the employee owners, yet the consequences will affect them all. This does not align with an employee-owned culture. The Board of Directors needs to require the voice of the employees be taken into consideration.

I was poached from another engineering firm with the promise that my position would always be virtual. That is the only reason I took the position. The other firm had better benefits overall and that is the only perk that swayed me. I will have an hour+ commute one way back to my closest office if I RTO. I also cannot afford the cost of fuel if I have to start driving in. Bills are already tight in the current economy and additional expenditures such as fuel and vehicle maintenance are too much.

Covid caused us to work in new ways and we all adapted. RTO will have us working in old ways again. It makes more sense to create a new slogan and call it "Working into the Future" or something. I dont think any of us are going to see our old lives again outside of work. I think an employee owner vote on the amount of time in the office is needed in this situation.

I am originally from Overland Park, KS and moved to Frisco, TX in 2019. I have been with BV since 2011. I was rehired as a virtual Employee last year. My immediate team members, and the department is still in KS office. It does not matter if I work from home or from the regional office as I will be interacting with my team members in KS through team calls anyway. It will only add the long commute time which could be up to 1 hour to 1 hour 30 mints with traffic. It will not help with the work-life balance. Infact it will upset the work-life balance and add more stress. I do not support RTO.

I do not support the RTO plan. I and many others had adjusted and embraced the WFH and remote work ways. I was spending an extra 3 hours a day just commuting on top of my work day. With Working from home, my work life balance is perfect. My stress levels are far far lower. My career growth has not changed and actually improved. I was promoted during the remote work. I am actually in closer with my team than I was pre covid and have met and worked with so many new professionals and built relationships with new people with working remotely. I do not miss the office, I do not need the office, and I have far less distractions working remote in my home office. And as proven, many/most others as well as my own productivity is much higher working remote. I can understand and agree to an office visit 1 day a week with the option to go in more for those who wish to, to achieve the in person team building, have meetings and catch up however I feel the 3 day a week mandate is too far the other way and will only add un necessary stress on professionals. I strongly believe this will lead to a large loss of key talent to competitors who would only need to offer something as simple as less days in office. I hope a modification and/or compromise can be made.

It can take me over an hour to get to the office if there if traffic but that is not considered with this new RTO order. I just wish we had any idea this was going to happen.

Like many others, I am not excited about this RTO mandate. Working from home has created such a better work/life balance for me and my family. Not only will I have to change my work schedule, but so will by wife, and she will likely have to take less hours and/or work on the weekend to adapt back to #WorkingInOldWays. This RTO mandate is going to have a negative financial impact on my family.

I am originally from Kansas and then moved to Florida and have been designated as a virtual worker for so many years, long before COVID. None of my immediate team members or even my department team members are in the Orlando, FL building. I do not see the benefit of going into the office because I do production support all day, so I'm on Teams and on the phone the majority of my day to resolve users' issues. I maintain the "BV culture" through my Teams and phone communications with users, so I still do not see the benefit of going into the office in my area. I understand that it might be beneficial for those with multiple team members living in the same area, but for those who are the only ones in a particular region, I don't see the benefits.

All collaboration I have are with employees that are not in my office, they are in CA, CO, Fl, MI, and TX. so I will have anywhere from a 45min to 1 hour and 15 min drive to still be Infront of Teams chats, calls and meetings, seems counterproductive for me to RTO for no change in my daily routine. that is 1.5 to 2.5 hours of productivity that ill loose due to having to commute to the office cutting into my personal life and kid time

As a recent hire within the last 2 months, its very disheartening to be faced with mandatory RTO. I quit a good job for the primary advantage of having flexibility to work from home and took a position as a mobile employee. Now, I'll driving over twice as far as I was for my previous job. I was hoping to take advantage of the 9/80 work profile, but will be adding a day of driving every 2 weeks, virtually eliminating the possibility. Whats most frustrating is that I will not be working on projects with people in my local office most of the time, so I'll be driving to a local office to have Teams meetings. Seems like a complete waste of time and resources.

I am a recent hire that applied to and was hired on for a (Full Remote) position. This RTO was not mentioned at all during the hiring process or onboarding process. I turned down other offers because i was led to believe that my position would remain as (Full Remote). I do not approve of this new RTO plan!

When I went through the official HR process to move to a Virtual position, it was never communicated that it was a temporary position nor one that would eventually have to report to whatever BV office happened to be close. If that had been the case, I would have never moved! Everything was officially approved, and BV needs to abide by the policy that was in place.

The way management handled this whole process and transition is just shameful. Not only was the whole company (including Team Leaders) blind-sided but false promises were given to recent hires who were promised full-time remote with no future of RTO because the company was being "transformed".
