In news articles, I've been seeing that Ms. Elgie claims to be having health issues that caused this incident. Even if this is true, this is therefore more reason for her to resign. If she is unable to control her words, she is unable to do this work anymore. It is time for her to take care of herself and resign, and set an example for others.

Nancy Elgie needs to resign. Her comment about a black parent is disgraceful. As a Trustee she is not a role model that the community needs. If Nancy does not resign, she should be fined and fired from her post.

Our schools need love equality and fairness..
scares me to think what decisions she has made with this and other underlying prejudices and bias and how those outcomes has terribly affected our kids
