Mr. Moxey created Jumbay Village which was a culture mecca that brought tourist and Bahamians together to experience culture at its highest level. The project was abandonded and the site destroyed and so was the cultural identity of our people for many years. The Bahamian term for Jumbay is spirits. Jumbay Village was suppose to represent the positive and creative spirits of the Bahamian people. The site should include a straw market, arts & craft market, food vendors, museum and stage for drama and concerts.
