Please provide full disclosure and have an EIA done before making a final decision on the redevelopment project.

Any reasons for plans apparently being kept quiet? If not, seems reasonable to be open about them - indeed, a wwf hk letter says "wwf supports a transparent consultation"; surely this is Hong Kong's crown jewel for wildlife, only made possible thro support of HK people. Also, the Peter Scott Centre is not ancient; it is sizeable by comparison with centres at many a reserve I believe. Could it be renovated, better used? [yes, too late now] - and I never thought it was ideally planned in first place; but wonder if replacement will be so marvellous.

An EIA is a basic requirement- why not do this?
