E2 Treaty Investor Visa Holders = JOB CREATORS

I hope that President Trump and his team will look at this legislation and support all E2 investors to have a more permanent future here.

These are not the bad guys!!!

Please allow these people to get green cards. We know people in this situation and they are hard working and decent individuals. They have the burden of worrying that they won't be able to stay in the U.S.

E2 Treaty Investor Visa holders are primarily Job Creators and Investors

E2 Investor Visa (Essential Employee) We have the potential to create more Jobs but holding off any further investments. Not sure if there is any hope ever that after living 14 Years in the US i will get a Permanent resident status.

I have been with my family since 2001, (16 years ago) since then I have created hundreds of direct jobs with my business as well giving indirect employment to many people or companies around the country. During these years I have bought real estate, cars, etc. All the time I have been paying all kind of federal taxes, property taxes, etc. At the same time I have paid thousands of dollars to be legally in United States to renew my visa E2. At the beginning on the year of 2001, this renewal was every 5 years but then it was changed some years ago to renew the visa every year! I do not understand how people like us we cannot have an opportunity to get the permanent residency, we are not looking for "food stamps" or any kind of compensation from the government , we are not interested to get a job in "McDonald's" we have our own businesses, we are people with professional careers. How can we invest more money with this kind of visa if we have an uncertain future?

My husband and I are over in Florida on a e2 visa and employee at least 6 Americans

We own a motorcycle store & repair shop creating nine jobs with employee salaries ranging from 25K to 75K. This does not include any indirect jobs creation related to our business. We return around 100K/year of sales tax to Florida dept. of revenue + all the employer related contributions (Social Security/Medicare/Federal unemployment/Florida unemployment, etc.). Like every E2 holder, we spend money in this country, pay our taxes and contribute in the US economy. Being next to the Fort Lauderdale airport with a 17 000 sq. building located on three acres, we received many offers to sell the building and land for airport warehouse purpose. Doing so will mean nine well paid jobs will be lost, we will be sad to see that happen because we are a great team working all together but we are not sure we want to stay in a country without more solid base and having to renew our E2 every five years and force to leave the US every two years to get a new I-94. This is a loss of time and money that we could use in our business. We came legally in this country, we inject more than a million to buy the building & land so I think that E2 holder should be consider as important asset for the USA. Thanks, Regards

E2 visa holders come to the US the legal way, but have no path to Permanent residency(Green Card). We are entrepreneurs, investors, employers, taxpayers and valued community members. E2 visa holders are contributors not takers. It must surely be the right thing to do, to offer Permanent Residency to those that contribute to the US in such a positive way, especially when it is given to so many more, for so much less.

Change has to come!

We are the one group that actually got no path to greencard, never gets mentioned, we pretty much have no rights and yet create jobs for Americans. Its time to be recognized for our contribution to the economy and workforce here and be treated fairly with some rights.

E2 visa is creating jobs in America. Please give E2 visa the right as PRs.

Please allow E-2 Visa holders to be eligible for green cards. They contribute to the country instead of drain it.

We have been here nearly 2 yrs and employ 2 US citizens and a number USA companies as sub-contractors. We are going through the first renewal process now; the $10k - $12k it is costing us could have been used to re-invest in our business.
