Please don't increase my property taxes. I'm a 30 year old who's owned my first home for just over a year, still paying off student loans and a car payment. The last thing I need is a higher tax burden to keep me down.

I'm so discouraged by the continued increase in taxes in this region and Dryden clearly want to leads the pack. i do not want to pay higher taxes each year. At some point soon I will be forced to make a tough decision about staying in my home and this community. You do realize wages are not keeping pace with these increases and that your areas largest employers are pulling in their purse strings ever tighter to reduce costs, yes? Apparently I need to start driving people to the polls. BTW, tell the plow guy to stop tearing up the road when there"s no snow or not enough to plow but he's banking OT.

Wonder why people want to move out of Dryden... They keep wanting to act like it is the rishest place on earth to live... How are normal people suppose to live with paying higher taxes what their living wage does not increase ... Ugh

These tax increases are in expectable! My wife and I can't afford to keep paying more and more each year. We are only two people but I hope being part of this petition will help the families of the town of Dryden be heard.

I want my taxes to stop going up double digits every year! The current town board seems to have forgotten that not everyone lives in a "mansion on a hill". Some of us struggle for every penny we have and we don't want it wasted by those who have been put in office (obviously out of popularity) to watch over our town.
Seems like the the election was more of a popularity contest than a common sense election to do what's best for our town.

Raising already high taxes even higher is the lazy way out. What Dryden needs is a Town Board that is made up of creative problem solving people. PS. Does anyone know anything about this rebate check ?

The board is out of touch with reality. Most ate from the other side of town. We have no representation from our side of town. Time to hold them accountable.

I would like a full accounting of why the Board feels that our taxes should be increase. WHERE are all of the businesses for North Street? Businesses would absorb some of the taxes and greatly help homeowners who are struggling to pay the increased taxes. North Street is embarrassing......Dryden looks like a ghost town with loads of empty lots, no businesses, no places for kids to work after school. NOTHING to draw new people to Dryden.....WHY don't we have new businesses coming in? What happened to Rite Aid moving into where Stafford Chevrolet and the bowling alley use to be? the village is falling apart yet taxes keep rising. Something is VERY wrong with this picture and there seems to be no accountability from the Board.
