For the second straight year in a row the Dryden Town Board is planning to increase our Property Tax rate in the double digit range for the 2016 tax season. In 2015 most people saw close to a thirteen percent increase in their tax rate. Currently the Board is looking at a 12 to 17 percent rate increase for 2016. They have talked of more of the same in 2017. Most Board members believe that a majority of Dryden Residents don't mind paying more property taxes and have even been quoted in local newspapers stating so. We believe this is NOT the case. Please complete the following to be presented to the Dryden New York Town Board to show them how you really feel.

UPDATE: On November 5th the Town Board voted to raise your tax bill. They voted and approved the budget without having an exact figure on how it will impact your bill. This will be determined at a later date. However once you factor in your increase in Assessment of your property, your tax bill will be going up in the 14% range. Tell them how you really feel by completing this petition.
