I spent my entire elementary school life at Del Obispo and then transitioned to Marco for middle school like so many others. I hate the thought of the school being closed. :(

This has been a great school for my nieces and the rest of their community. A change of schools will uproot the an important foundation For these children.

Trying to share an MPR with 3 schools, which is essentially what 1 Middle + 1 K-8 equals, is an exercise in futility! I sat on both the PTA & Foundation boards at my daughter's elementary school & the MPR was CONSTANTLY in use. I finally get out of Elementary, where we have to take compensatory action by raising $$ for basic programs such as K-3 Music & a Librarian, to have to fight for a space that has always been available to Marco Middle School students & their programs???

Best school ever.! Just the vive you get when you walk into there office. It's simply warming and you actually feel welcomed. I was a teacher aid my last year at Marco and it was the best experience ever.

My daughter, now 24 went to this school and I could not have been happier. She had a fabulous educational caring experience which set her up for the rest of her school career. I now work for the school district and occasionally visit Delo, I always find it to have the same caring staff. It would be a tragedy to close such a productive member of the community. Go Dragons!!

I attended Del Obispo School on the first day that it open. Then my 3 kids did too. I ask that to please keep it open. I believe that you will be taking something that it's part of the community. and of its history. Keep Del Obispo Open and its Dragon standing !!!!!

Education is a very important special to kids who are just learning how to read and write. Closing an elementary school which gives the a bad impression to those kids that school is not necessary. Are you really going out of your mind closing this school. Please keep the school open for the future of our kids.

This is total madness..why close one school to move another one in its place?? A pure waste of tax payers money and the loss of a small school treasured by the local community..would be a HUGE loss!!
