We, the undersigned, formally request and submit a petition of commutation for Dean Yancey. We feel the currently issued sentence is excessive for the charges made as no one was physically harmed and the minimal property damage obtained was paid in full. We hope consideration is made to reduce the sentence.

Dean is a complex and caring person. He’s a proud Army Veteran and a smart man with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. During his incarceration he has continued his education with agricultural studies and will earn a Associates Degree. He is a beneficial member of the local community.

Regardless of his past, it is his future that we all agree to support. The names and information of people gathered below, his friends and family, all love and know Dean as a sincere, caring, and honest man. We all believe that with care from professionals and our continued support he will be able to show his true self again within society.
