The benefits of dual language can not be ignored given the multicultural state and world we live in. The competitive and cognitive advantages are enormous.

I have a 2.5 year old son who is currently learning Spanish in his preschool. I would love this is be apart of his daily School curriculum when he reaches elementary.

Spanish language education and exposure is valuable in bridging language barriers, cultivating appreciation for different cultures, fostering empathy, not to mention the scientifically proven brain benefits learning a language provides humans of all ages. Plus making bilingual people more competitive in the job market.

It might not benefit my kids, but this would be great for our district.

I would like to see an immersion and/or dual language program implemented ASAP.
