UPDATE October 28th 2010:
Well we just got confirmation from Sony Malaysia that they are negotiating to bring David Archuleta to Malaysia for a concert in the 1st quarter of 2011. Let's make it a done deal by getting this petition to collect 5000 names at least so that we can assure David's team that there are more than enough fans in Malaysia waiting for him. So please do your bit and hit that magic number of 5000. Thank you all for your support.
Recently, in April, American singer - songwriter David Archuleta came to Malaysia for a showcase in which he performed at Sunway Amphitheatre to a capacity crowd. The 20 minutes or so that he was on stage has only served to make his Malaysian fans hungry for more. Judging by the enthusiastic response from the crowd at Sunway, it is obvious that David has a very large and dedicated following in Malaysia. These fans would love nothing more than for David to stage a full concert on the same stage. And this is the purpose of this petition - to gather enough support from fans in order that David's management can be made to appreciate the amount of fan support that David has in Malaysia. To achieve our purpose the objectives of this petition has to be ambitious and wide in scope. We are targeting 5000 names for this petition by the end of August. That's when David's tour in the US will have finished.Then he would be recording his Christmas album, so if he can be persuaded to come to Malaysia in the 3rd quarter of the year the trip can be used to promote his Christmas album as well. We aim to send this petition to Jive(David's record label), Azoff Management (David's management), and most importantly to David himself. If you support our efforts to get David back to Malaysia for a full concert please add your signature below.

Now I know y'all are desperate to have David come to Malaysia and we love your passion and energy but please do not spam this petition with repeated signatures. It doesn't look good to have to show David's people ( if need be ) a list full of bogus names and email addresses. So please keep it honest and genuine ok? :-)
