Indian festivals should be celebrated with a traditional decorum and introduction of new things over 3- 5 decades should be reviewed. If people don't come forward voluntarily, strict laws and their stricter implementation is a must.

I support this petition to stop the use of DJs and Dolby, which contribute to sound pollution.

DJ should be banned. It is really harmful to the society. We should promote traditional art to celebrate festivals.

I support ban of DJ and loud music in all festivals. It just create nuisance for public. These things should be banned with zero tolerance towards those who will use DJ and loud music during any festivals. In addition to this, taking Vargani also should be banned. As many a times Vargani is forced and money that is obtained is not used for correct purpose.

Noise pollution is always much more than the permissible limit in all processions, not only Ganpati. Old, young, middle aged , infants all are harmed by the noise. Dolby systems in open spaces are not controlled at all by police who become bystanders and the common people suffer it's terrible effects which can lead to permanent hearing loss. It affects those who drink, get high and dance to the sound too. And the music continues for a longer period that what is permitted. Same is the case during navratri . I totally endorse the petition to stop using Dolby/very high noisy systems to save ourselves and our health.
