The proximity of DJs to residential areas causes severe inconvenience, especially to senior citizens and children. The songs played by the speakers are also not suitable for a cultural and religious celebrations-- if you want to play item songs during Ganapati, you might as well go to the club instead. The very fact that we need to sign a petition to ban the use of high-volume speakers proves the stunning lack of civic sense in this country.

While imposition of dB limits doesn't work, what about doing away with, also indecent sounds that rush through the streets is nothing but a complete antithesis of the culture of this region.
Highly polluting sound/lights/smoke are not a part of Indian culture, nor are they an essential religious practice, even remotely.

STRICTLY NO TO DJ AND DOLBY SYSTEMS IN ANY OF THE FESTIVALS. सोलापूरात या वर्षी मिरवणूकीत एकही DJ वाजला नाही. नक्कीच बोधप्रद आहे हे!

I strongly agree that celebrations and festivals should be pleasant, responsible and eco friendly for everyone. Right now, they're celebrated in a way that is a social and environmental nuisance. Definitely needs restrictions and curtailment.

During Ganeshotsav in Pune, unbearably loud DJ sound systems create excessive noise pollution, disturbing residents and endangering public health. Such extreme sounds can cause hearing loss, stress, and heartbeat irregularities, especially for senior citizens, children, and patients. We urge the authorities to impose a complete ban on DJ sound systems during the festival and ensure celebrations are carried out peacefully and in harmony with public safety.
Please Stop this activity as early as possible.
Ban DJ, we should promot our culture
Please stop this nuisance
