I thought the word 'British' in BSPA meant that British interests should come first. How can refusing a Brit permission to ride in a British league be in the best interests of the sport?

Do the right thing and let him ride for Peterborough. It is most definitely in the best interest of speedway as he is an exciting BRITISH rider and very talented!!

BSPA should be doing all they can to help the British boys, not finding reasons to prevent their progress.

BSPA you are a Joke. You need to start to get the crowds back into Speedway. We want to see British riders getting a break into the sport. Top riders walking away from our league more and more. ( and not just the GP Boys) We are left with teams made up of mostly second rate foreign riders. Time to give the Brits priority. Wake up before you kill speedway in this country forever

What a joke the BSPA are. Craig quit the PL at the end of last season to progress his career. Craig has been let down by his Polish team. Craig hasn't managed to land himself a contract in Sweden therefore Craig's only income is with Belle Vue in the British Elite League. To everyone at the BSPA you always come out and say back the British riders and that we need new British youngsters to come through. You are not only stopping Craig from earning a living by not allowing Craig to sign for the Peterborough Panthers but you are also stopping a young British rider in Tom Stokes from progressing in his career. The BSPA's excuse is utter bollox as usual. Give Craig and Tom the green light to sign for Peterborough Speedway. Both riders would benefit from taking on another British League. BACK THE BRITS! AS THE BSPA ALWAYS SAY!

For the good of the sport I hope common sense prevails or I think this situation may start a wave of decisions that will affect our sport and it won't be for its betterment!
