It would make a huge difference being able to play in the evenings all year round.

New surface, netting around the edges and floodlights would be great. Also better policing of courts, to make sure everyone is actually paying. This would bring in much needed revenue, to help justify this capex. Just look at Bishops Park! In fact, why not add another two courts at Eel Brook Common and that would might justify having a proper booking hut and loos for players - all paid for by revenues to be collected in the next few years!

The location of those tennis courts is perfect, but they really need a good upgrade re surface and floodlights. Equally important would be some mini tennis courts given the huge popularity of the tennis courts with children.

When you compare eel brook courts to a number of others in the area you see just how outdated they are. So many kids and adults alike use the courts and the common on a regular basis so the upkeep is essential to maintain enjoyment for all. These suggested upgrades are vital to ensure the common continues to attract local residents to enjoy its facilities and to give children a safe and fun playing environment. Toilets would also be a valuable addition too.
