It is very clear from your uninformed comments Mr. Goltzman that you are not familiar with the said area. I am puzzled as to why someone who obviously has no idea of where the proposed tower is going and where the possible alternative sites (as nominated by Noosa Council) are situated, feels the need to communicate in such a hostile manner and personally attack Melissa Town in a somewhat irrational manner.

Oh also, Ms. Town (Ive been saying Mrs. this whole time, my apologies) knows that the tower will greatly benefit "some" residents (Not everyone, since radio signals discriminate apparently). I don't see how that lines up with the active effort to make it benefit LESS residents by moving it to a sub-optimal location further away from the community. Also the claim that her proposed relocation is just as good as the current one. Does Ms. Town know exactly how the towers work and how they interface with each other? The towers are a network and require line of sight to each other due to Microwave backhaul. It is not a matter of being 'high enough'. This is not a satellite connection where you need a clear view of the sky. The higher and further away a tower is from an antenna the worse the connection will be. Besides, I admit I'm not familiar with the area but if the tower is high up on forestry land... doesn't that mean it is more visible to more properties and is now 'destroying the semi-rural lifestyle' of more people? It has too, because if there is enough trees in the way then the tower signal will attenuate massively and become useless. This, plus will necessitate the bulldozing of trees and destruction of wildlife habitats both around the tower itself and the newly laid road towards it? Does Ms. Town not care about that?
