There is no way in-person classes should take place in the Fall if unvaccinated students are present.

My husband is immunocompromised and I am terrified to go back into a crowded lecture hall without knowing everyone is vaxxed. Please listen to us.

Cmon OSU follow the science. Other schools are doing it so why are we lagging behind?? Fix this before we start in the fall.

Seeing as how OSU already mandates vaccinations for 6 diseases that have largely been eradicated from the US, it seems logical to add a seventh to end the current pandemic. Buckeyes value science and learning. Let's prevent COVID-19 from standing in the way any longer. Source: https://shs.osu.edu/vaccinations1/university-vaccination-requirement

OSU should make it clear to the community that it recognizes the value of science and respects recommendations based on scientific data and thinking. This petition is not merely for the convenience of the faculty. It is a request to uphold academic values above state politics.

I had my first child this year. Please do not make me choose between my (currently) unvaccinated infant’s health and my career. This isn’t what women should be faced with.

I like the mandate, not the opting out

This is important to protect the people who have unvaccinated children at home or are not able to get the vaccine for medical reasons.

As a cancer survivor, vaccination is very important to me.
