Doug White, current Program Director for the Fundraising Management program in the School of Professional Studies at Columbia University, is being demoted and will be in charge of operational duties instead of programming and Faculty. This decision was made without transparency around the restructuring of the program, and this information was withheld from the student body.

Action petitioned for

We, the undersigned, are concerned students and alumni who urge our leaders to act now to reinstate Doug White as head of programming for the Fundraising Management program with full responsibilities. Doug has been an integral part to the growth of this program adding innovative and inspiring courses, increasing our networks, and – for most of us – jump starting our fundraising careers.We also ask that students are made aware and a part of such structural changes that will directly affect our degree program.
