Καταδίκη Τουρκίας για ομαδικούς τάφους αγνοουμένων της Άσσιας στο κατεχόμενο τμήμα της Κύπρου
Ζητούμε την διεθνή καταδίκη της Τουρκίας σχετικά με τους ομαδικούς τάφους των 70 άμαχων αγνοουμένων της Άσσιας στο Ορνίθι στο κατεχόμενο τμήμα της Κύπρου. Καλούμε την Τουρκική κυβέρνηση να συμμορφωθεί προς το διεθνές δίκαιο.
Καταδικάζουμε τη μετατόπιση των οστών που έλαβε χώρα στο Ορνίθι όπου πραγματοποιήθηκε εκταφή σε τέσσερις χώρους ταφής, δύο εκ των οποίων ήταν πηγάδια και χώροι ομαδικής ταφής, ενώ υπάρχουν και στοιχεία από τα οποία προκύπτει ότι οι δύο ομαδικοί τάφοι είχαν ανοιχθεί στο παρελθόν και ότι οι σοροί αφαιρέθηκαν σκόπιμα και μεταφέρθηκαν σε γνωστή πια τοποθεσία, τον σκουπιδότοπο του Δικώμου.
Η ενέργεια αυτή, καθώς και άλλες παρόμοιες ενέργειες, συνιστούν απόλυτη έλλειψη σεβασμού έναντι των αγνοουμένων και κατάφωρη παραβίαση των δικαιωμάτων των οικογενειών τους να μάθουν επιτέλους τις πραγματικές συνθήκες θανάτου των αγαπημένων τους προσώπων.
Ζητούμε την άμεση και πλήρη εξακρίβωση της τύχης ολων των αγνοουμένων και καλούμε την Τουρκική κυβέρνηση "να σταματήσει αμέσως τη μετακίνηση των λειψάνων από τους ομαδικούς τάφους και να συμμορφωθεί προς το διεθνές δίκαιο, το διεθνές ανθρωπιστικό δίκαιο και τις αποφάσεις του Ειδικού Δικαστηρίου Ανθρωπίνων Δικαιωμάτων (ΕΔΑΔ)" .

Demand full accountability for the crimes committed in Ornithi. Respect the dead.
We protest for the severe violation of the human rights of all Cypriots ,both G/ C 's and T/ C's , a result of the turkish invasion against our island in 1974 and the occupation of 37% of the territory of the Republic of Cyprus since then. We demand freedom, end of the turkish occupation, reunification of the island and a just, viable and long lasting solution to the Cyprus problem with full restoration of all our basic human rights as European citizens. We have the right to know what happened to our missing whose fate is unknown since 1974. This is a humanitarian issue and Turkey must give answers for her crimes in various areas and in particular for the missing people of Assia village who were murdered, burried and transferred in the occupied area of Ornithi.. 48 years of pain and anxiety is a long tragedy for their families.
