The Chaotic Company started out as a scam review website in the backwaters of the internet. Quietly plugging away and reviewing different websites; making the public aware of scams and other lascivious practices. Though sometimes we would find a semi-legitimate website that would claim to make you money. We have since developed our own process to double and triple our clients’ money. This does seem too good to be true, but we are a legitimate business with a valid business license. PayPal was our payment gateway. Their team has shut us down for over a week now to “investigate” our business practices. Many different supervisors from different departments have cleared us to do business and use their services. We have been shut down since 7-18-2015 through the present (unless a date is updated on here). Many times we have called to try and clear this all up; each time we are met with the same response, “your review will be completed within 24-48 hours.” Over a week has passed since first contact was made and our account was shut down.

The practices being used by PayPal resemble racketeering. Racketeering is defined on Wikipedia as follows: “A racket is a service that is fraudulently offered to solve a problem, such as for a problem that does not actually exist, that will not be put into effect, or that would not otherwise exist if the racket did not exist. Conducting a racket is racketeering. [1] Particularly, the potential problem may be caused by the same party that offers to solve it, although that fact may be concealed, with the specific intent to engender continual patronage for this party. An archetype is the protection racket, wherein a person or group indicates that they could protect a store from potential damage, damage that the same person or group would otherwise inflict, while the correlation of threat and protection may be more or less deniably veiled, distinguishing it from the more direct act of extortion.” (Racketeering. (n.d.). Retrieved July 27, 2015.). Not being able to do business for a week has seriously hurt our company. All of our information, except our exact method of making money, is completely transparent to the public, all information including our business license is posted on our website.

All we ask is for you to sign this petition not to just help us, but to help every small business that PayPal attacks in this way.

Thank you for your time and consideration in reading this petition.

Sincerely,

The Chaotic Company Executive Team
