I'm not even sure why these courses are labeled as "1st years" courses to begin with. I didn't take some of them last year because I needed to take Finance courses instead, having no prior background in Finance.

It is not fair to force people to take certain courses in a particular year. It certainly defeat the purpose of having a lot of elective choices.
