This is a race director screw-up. Athletes shouldn't be DQ'd, but RD should pay two people for each of the 10 positions (2nd payout would be the postion if there were dq's). Also, Tim Reed should still be in the running for the $1,000,000 if we wins the other two races.

I agree it should be a DQ although 2 considerations needed: - if the lead motorbike takes the wrong route (which it did!) then it's confusing for the racers following it at 45 km/h. It took the wrong route but the racers could have thought that the route changed last minute due to the crazy winds that day. Also, the impact on Jensen has been underplayed. He went from leading to being 6th! That's a huge psychological blow, especially when no one actually passed you and you feel robbed mid-race.

I too have gone off course and then entered the course where I left it. It was not done soon enough to change the dynamics of the race and hence a head to head race and not a TT start.

DQ - Harsh result for an unfortunate circumstance, but rules cannot be changed circumstantially. Reed wins, others to protest with organisers to find a solution moving forward.

DQ for all 5 who cut the course, Tim Reed deserves the win.

Tim won. Period. Explain to me how the decision that was made was consistent with other races. It's not. It was arbitrary and subjective. You're literally tarnishing the challenge family name by not doing what's right.
