It is extremely important that any exhibition about the Caddo mounds and peoples include examples of actual the items made and used by Caddo peoples. We have acquired Caddo ceamic vessels from living Caddo artists for display in our new interpretive plan at the Gilcrease Museum so that we can update our exhibitions and more accurately educate our visitors. The Caddo make unique, complex and beautiful items that most people are not aware of. This will be an excellent exhibition to use for educating the public and possibly for educating educators.
Sincerely,
Diana Folsom

I do NOT support the choice by the THC to exclude Caddo Nation from cultural accuracy input and control of our information!

Authencity to exhibit truth of the way of life for Indigenous people should be first and foremost. False representation should be avoided. Communication with tribal leaders and elders would be most beneficial for all.
