Very, very disturbing in the public university of New York City and in the context of present-day racism and hatred in the United States.

The BDS movement represents the pursuit of antisemitism - a major form of racism. It hides behind the false narrative of "anti-zionism", which is yet another way to hide behind a false narrative to pursue racism and hatred of Jews. The narrative they use is based on complete falsehoods of the actual situation and facts. But they choose not to look for the truth because then they might not have an excuse for their antisemitism. Despite the decades of terrorism by Palestinians against Jews, who have legitimate claims to be in Israel, you don't stand behind any legitimate causes for the Palestinians to stop the hatred and murder. That makes you a racist too. Like it or not, that is who you are. If, in your ignorance, you want to support BDS, then let's see you do without the innumerable medical and technological advances from Israel; All of which they share with the world - including the people who spew hatred at and about them.

This act further emboldens haters to continue in their endeavor and contradicts the Chancellor's message to keep us safe.
